Day 48 was our last full day in Paris; we sailed at 6PM.

We spent the morning on a bus seeing the highlights of Paris. The guide was good, but Brad was better! We did get out and walk past Notre Dame entering from a different direction than we had before. That was interesting to see the contrast.

The afternoon was spent just hanging out on the ship and maybe squeezing in a nap or two.

We continue to be impressed by both the format of river cruising and the great personal service that Viking delivers.

The meals are good; thoughtful presentation and comfortable portions (meaning not too large). We spent quite a bit of time on the deck after dinner just watching the countryside glide by. It was really relaxing.

Tomorrow we have 2 stops; I’m interested in how this will work. But with a small ship like this it should be a piece of cake.
