Day 54. We're home!
The biggest challenge we had on this trip was luggage. Due to the number of places we were going, we committed to each carrying one rollaboard suitcase and one backpack.

The trip home was effortless; a big departure from our other flights on this trip.
We made it from the ship to the Air France lounge in 65 minutes. That's a record for me at CDG (my least favorite airport ever!) We relaxed in the lounge for a few hours and then boarded quickly for an on-time departure.

The service on the flight was top notch, the food was good, the wine was better and the flat bed was perfect.

We changed planes in Atlanta and thanks to Global Entry and TSA Pre-check it only took 15 minutes from leaving the plane to being on the tram to the A Concourse. We got to spend about 90 minutes in the A concourse Skyclub. This is the best one in the airport, but you need to know about it. It's got a small sign near an elevator for PF Chang's and then a lobby where they have food, snacks and drinks. Unless you spend an inordinate amount of time in the Atlanta airport (like I have) you don't know to look for the obscured elevator that takes you up to a wide-open full service lounge with a view of the operations.

We left 2 months ago for the longest vacation we've ever taken and were together 24/7 for the whole trip. Both were fabulous departures from the norm.
There's nothing like home. And that's where we are.

The End
